As the title say, I don't seem to be able to shut down my netbook. I've tried the usual, start then shutdown, using CTRL+ALT+DEL, and also trying to force shutdown. Nothing seems to be working??
    Can someone please help?

Other ways are minimise all windows, focus on desktop then alt-F4. Or from the menu of TaskManager. If all else fails hold the power button down for about 6 sec, but thats not very filesystem-friendly.
