HID are standard on the MPS 6, bulbs will be expensive though. I'll try to replace the bulbs yourself if its possible, cos it'll be very expensive if you get the bulbs replace in a garage.

When it comes to the MPS, I find you will get a better answer from www.mpsowners.co.uk as there is a greater chance that some of the guys on there may have it done.

Good move, are the bulbs easy to change on the Mazda? On my car(Opel Astra) i had to take out the airfilter box just to change the H1(High beam) bulbs and jack up the car to change the fogs (H11). I hope yours a straight forward jobbie.

Have you got a price from the garage?

OP only started this thread this morning ;)

@OP - The cost of labour will depend on how long it takes them to change the bulbs.

If you find a mechanic who has done it before it'll be cheaper than one who hasn't.

There will be a bit of time taken to do the fogs as the front wheels and arch liners have to come off.

I don't care how much of a pain in the ass it was i'd never book a car into a garage to change bulbs,My previous car required the bumper to come off and lights to be removed and my current car requires the headlights to be removed but i still do it - i have hands like biscuit tins and have to google "how to hold a spanner" :D

Check out the MPS owners forum as suggested above and i bet you will find a step by step guide.

    Best of luck.
