I had major surgery d on 20Jan and am wondering about the pain meds.
I've stopped taking the prescription ones and just taking paracetemol evry 4-6 hrs now. Pain is OK but I'm feeling very sad, teary & lonely today. Is this a usual side effect of coming off the pain meds?

I think part of it may be that 3 different friends said they'd call in & visit me over the weekend and I've heard nothing (no call, text, email..) from them so gathering now visits and feeling like a billy-no-mates at the moment.
And the rain wouldn't cheer anyone up.

    Hello.
Boards.ie is not really the place to request medical advice. I would suggest contacting your doctor.
