I have these, they're definitely a good investment but if I was buying them again, I probably wouldn't go 58mm on the front but 38mm, here's another opportunity to show off my puppy: :pac:

Did you go with tubs or clinchers? Were they lucky enough to slip through customs or did you have to pay extra :(

It is a little tight but nothing OTT, probably best to have a decent set of tyre levers though. Braking is OK, I got pads with them but I'd be light enough in the summer anyway. I can't remember the customs on them

I would definitely want to pay full customs on them.If there was some way around paying it, I would love to know.So as to avoid that behaviour of course.

It's pot luck if customs picks them or not.

    @ BDK

I know the guy selling the Williams on Adverts.ie, they genuinely are a brand new replacement set from Williams as the last ones melted on him going down Alp d'Huez ( he's 90+ KG ). Needless to say he didn't fancy a repeat of that, so he's selling them, mint condition.

Another bloke I know, did get caught for VAT and Duty on his Williams, ended up costing nearly €1300 in total, you'd get a pair of pimped up FFWDs for that !

Captain, why would you go for the 38mm front wheel, does the it catch a lot of side wind? Thanks for all the replies.
