Psychology as joint honours?

    I am considering doing an arts degree (joint honours) Is psychology available after 1st year?? :confused:

    No. You can only study psychology as a single honours after 1st year. It's to do with having covered enough topics to be able to be registered with the Psychological Society of Ireland.

    However, I'm pretty sure you can study psychology as a joint honours in NUI Galway if you want to look into the arts course there? It's different to the single psychology course in that you have to do a h.dip afterwards to be fully registered with the PSI.
