    Hey guys,
Just wondering what supplements are you taking that you find most effective for your goals?

Started taking Nutrition X whey protein and arent finding the results very good, so looking for recommendations!
Hearing good things about LA muscle products so anyone got anything to say on them?
    Thanks!

    How can food "not work"??

    In answer to the question:

    Fish oil
    Flaxseed oil
    Multi-vitamin
    Whey
    Caffeine
Peanut butter (I treat it like a food supplememt)
    Zinc & magnesium.

    The simpler the better.

What's in flax seed oil that you don't get from fish oils?

The only ones I take myself are fish oils and zinc. I am terrible at remembering to take them though.

jacko id like to say that if people seem gruff here its because we sorta seen it all before

the best way to get big or get strong (or best get big and strong) is eat things that had a face, lift heavy and complex and to add more to the bar as often as possible.

supplements come after your're doing that

The fish oil I take is omega 3,
The flaxseed oil has omega 3, omega 6 & omega 9.
I'm not overly keen on the extra omega 6 but the 9 Im glad to be getting in.

depends on which omega 6 oil it is though. Gamma linoleic acid is a w6 whose action is anti-inflammatory. w9 are non essential fatty acids.

    Just a tesco brand one.
100 or 200 tabs per bottle.

Dosage is meant to be one a day, I'd normally have 3.

    Whey.

Caffeine doesn't count, it's one of the two essential macronutrients along with bits of dead animals

Anyone know where to get good quality fish oil tablets? Or will the ones in Holland & Barrett and the likes do the job?

    I go for the H&B 1200mg Omega 3 capsules.

Always make sue to buy them when its buy 1 get one for 1c, or when they have the half price sale.

    My Protein have this http://www.myprotein.com/ie/products/omega-3-liquid

High EPA and DHA and pretty cheap too.

I've used these capsules before, good price and quality.

Any reason you're going for capsules as opposed to liquid? I went for capsules at the start but you get much more EPA/DHA content in the liquid - one teaspoonful of this contains double the content of Omega 3 of the softgels - and it doesn't taste anywhere near as bad as I'd expected it to.

I've tried Carlsons as well but it's a lot more expensive.

In answer to the OP's question - I take Whey and Fish Oil.

I also take multi-vitamins - but mainly only when I'm on a cut as I feel that most vitamins and minerals should be present in my diet (in particular when on a bulk). Maybe this isn't the ideal way to look at it but that's how I see it.
