Shoes are made on a last, effectively a model of a foot. Manufacturers use only one standard width in order to cut costs and stock.

In order to get a correct fit I would advise you to try a company that supplies bridal footwear as they can often make bespoke footwear. This way you could pick whatvever design you wanted or get them to copy these shoes in the correct width and shape for your feet.

I'm aware you're not looking for bridal shoes. I suggested a company that makes bridal shoes because many women treat themselves to bespoke (made to measure) shoes for their wedding. This means the shoe is made exactly to fit your foot and is of a design of your own choosing. If you bring a photo of that shoe to that company the it could be copied exactly, that is what I am suggesting.

OP, have you tried them on? Are your feet definitely too wide for them? I'm just asking because I actually find IC shoes VERY wide. Now that said I do have very narrow feet, but generally don't have a problem with any other brands.

As a fellow broad-footer, think I sometimes find IR shoes in my normal size (6) don't fit as I am very broad across whatever that part of your foot just below the toes is (think coffin shaped feet, hot!) normally the next size up from it works for me though, possibly with an insole.

Unfortunately, apart from the odd knock-off in Korkys, I rarely see dupes of IR choice shoes about the place. Hope you have come across a perfect pair though

thanks, have tried on many many times in the hope that my feet have lost weight:o

they dont fit in the exact place MissFlitworth said:)

i think i will just try and make them myself using a shoe that fits, had a good look at them during the week shouldnt be too difficult
