I have a new PC with USB ports as you would expect.
However I need to use the old Eircom dial up connection for a particular reason and I see that there doesn't seem to be a way to connect my old external modem to the new PC.

Is there any kind of a workaround?
Is there a way of connecting a USB cable to this old modem (US Robotics-56K FaxModem)?

thanks if you can help (otherwise I will just have to go to an Eircom connected internet cafe I suppose)
