    Hi,
My girlfriend and I are trying to decide somewhere to go on a beach holiday in may this year. The date is not important and we hope to go for around two weeks. We have about 1000 euro each to spend on flights and accommodation. We would like nice accommodation and somewhere that's relaxing, warm and relatively laid back. We arent big drinkers but like nice food that doesn't cost a bomb. Any suggestions are welcome we just can't decide. Places we have thought bout so far are sunny beach, cancun, Egypt and Marbella.

Sorrento or the Cinque Terre in Italy such be nice around the time of year, you will get there before most of the crowds and it should be nice and warm by then.Marbella is nice aswell.

Varadero has 20 kilometers of beach. A Maldivian holiday is a beach lovers holiday. Keep an eye out for specials.

Varadero is a great option, only thing is the food is very hit and miss. Only really good meal we got during two weeks in Cuba was in a fantastic little restaurant in Habana Viejo.

But definitely, as beach holidays go, it's hard to beat! There's always some deals to be had, but if you opt for Varadero, try get a flight into Varadero rather than Havanna, the transfer seems to take forever!
