    Hey all

I bought a 99 grand Vitara back in august last year, all was going well only 14000 on the clock and nct done, but i noticied in the last few days that there was kinda steamy smoke coming out of the exhaust and that all the coolant is gone out of the bottle so i suspect that the head gasket is gone. So me not being mechanically minded i need to know if this going to be a major job and cost wise will it be mental to do it i cant afford to spend another 2 grand on a jeep so i will get it fixed depending on the price, i know looking at different web sites that this job is supposed to be a major job. If anyone can help me it would be really good i really need to get some advice on this. If anyone could recommend a good mechanic around the gorey area that would take on this sort of job. I am really desperate here so please help

First thing you need to do is have the problem diagnosed. A 10 minute check by someone who knows what they are doing and has the correct equipment will tell you if the head gasket is gone or not.
