Transformer Prime dead pixels

I got a Transformer Prime a couple of days ago, and really like it. I am having none of the wifi or GPS issues others are. Wifi signal strength is the same as my Galaxy S2, iPhone 4 or Laptop, and it locks on to 8+ satellites within <1 minute outdoors, with the wifi off.
However, there are a lot of dead pixels. Either subpixels, or full ones. At least one is made up of 2 side by side.
The warranty states that there must be 5 or more, and I'm pretty sure I can count 10. They are only obvious when the screen is on plain white. They can be seen when the screen is any other full colour, but not easily.
I am going to return on Monday, but was wondering if this is a common problem, as I don't want to get into RMA hell with this thing. I would prefer to actually get some use out of it.

I presume you did a google search which would suggest that it's not a very common issue. Try this - might save you the hassle of bringing it back.

Couple of things on that... googling for information is all very well, but there are situations in which discourse is preferable to black and white information. Especially where opinion is what is desired.
Thanks for the link to the app. I am aware of such things, but am kinda reluctant to go with such a fix where I have just forked over €600+
I am going to return it, but was curious to see if otherh had similar experiences, and whether or not the next unit I got was likely to have dead pixels too. If I'm going to do a complete return-for-refund, it is better to do it within a short length of time after purchase.

How did you get on man? Did they replace it with another one? Thinking about getting it. Did you buy it here in Dublin?

I got it from Amazon. They are out of stock right now, so I'm going to hold onto it until they are back in.
I would highly recommend getting one. It blows all other tablets away.

Cool, have you played any MKV files on it? How does it perform with them?

    Cheers,
