Applied for a masters programme in the UK for next academic year. Masters is in Wales to be exact and was wondering if anyone had any idea about student loans available. Do they have a maximum limit amount and do they vary depending on the students needs? I have looked on the slc website but cant seem to make heads or tales of it.
Any information anyone can give me is greatly appreciated.

Moved to NI & GB Colleges

Currently there is no system of funding or loans for postgraduate study in Wales so unfortunately you're on your own from that perspective. However the faculties within the college(s) you're looking at may have scholarships/bursaries that would assist with the costs - these will be listed on the relevant college website(s). There may also be funding available from research and philanthropic bodies but this is unlikely if the postgrad is a taught course.

There's a general explanation here which might help.

Bank loans are another option but these can be difficult to get.
