I'd really appreciate it if anybody can shed some light on this for me.
I have a Samsung R530 laptop for the past year and a half and it hasn't given me any bother until now. Basically the scroll function on the touchpad stopped working all of a sudden. Normally when I hold my finger at the side of the touchpad and slide it down, it'll scroll down the page for me, but it just stopped without warning.

According to the properties tab, the touchpad is a "Synaptics touchpad V7.2"
I didn't alter the settings at all and it just stopped while I was reading something. All the settings seem to be normal, and the scroll function is switched on. I'd be really grateful if anyone can help because it's doing my head in!

Try downloading the latest touchpad driver Here and see if it helps!

I just searched the site and theres no option for my model number. There's one for the US version but not mine whic is the UK version. Should I go ahead and download the US one or will it cause problems?

sometimes I've noticed touchpads go like that, especially in web browsers. I think it may be to do with a plugin conflict or something, anyways at least its back to normal :)
