charging a newbook from a 24v socket in a truck

Howdy folks, My mate just called me about his new samsung netbook, it wont charge from the 24v socket in his truck (long distance driver). He picked up an inverter in a services stop (not sure what type) but it still wont charge. Any thoughts?

My mate just called me about his new samsung netbook, it wont charge from the 24v socket in his truck (long distance driver). He picked up an inverter in a services stop (not sure what type) but it still wont charge. Any thoughts?

This turned out to be a problem with the 24v - sorted now.
