does it have to be a b&b , cause theres a few developments of student type apartments going for cheap.

No, doesnt have to be a B&B but it is for only maybe 2 nights a week to begin with so that might be the most economical. Also sharing with students is not possible as it is for a lecturer.

I'd say widen your search to sarsfield road / wilton then . most apartment blocks here are geared towards students and most (if not all) house shares in bishopstown will involve sharing with at least one student.
