Copper Jacks , last time i went there you could be there until 3.30 until you had to go. most one i go to now you can drink up to 2.00 and then they dont' serve after this time. i could be wrong about coppers but i think you can still get drink most times after 2.30am

I meant latest to close. Isn't there special licenses like a theatre's one, that lets you stay open till later? I'm not sure if you are allowed to sell alcohol though.

Those nurses sure know how to party.

Tbh if the coalition were half-progressive they'd revise the old and useless nanny legislation brought in by those that shalt not be named and make our nightlife attractive and viable to both us and those outside Irelan.. but they won't unsurprisingly because it doesn't affect them and nightclubs will continue to close early ( after doing a great job emptying your pockets during your brief stay ;) )

Never mind nightclubs! Where are all the speakeasies in Dublin?

In all seriousness I'd love our own little cool speakeasy in Dublin like in London and New York, except ours will be a speakeasy, because it will sell after hours, but shhhhhh it's a secret ;)

I have been in the Clarence in Sligo numerous times till after 4 they would usually stop serving at between 3 and 3.30 and keep the music going till bout 3.45

If nightclubs were able to stay open until 6am like the continent we wouldn't have half the trouble and fighting seen when everyone is force-ably ejected at 2am

Completely true. I've never encountered any fighting in late bars or speakeasies. Everyone is hanging around talking crap and normally ends with a bunch of randomers heading to someones house and having a laugh. I'm not much of a club person but I LOVE my late bars and speakeasies.
