Anyone else getting these kind of errors through TCDWifi?

Is the service really that ****ty, or is there an explainable reason the proxy messes up between 10-50% of my HTTP traffic?

Maybe it just doesn't like you.

I get it all the time too, refreshing tends to sort it out straight away.

Yep, internet on campus, both Wifi and in the Residences is absolutely crap. Refreshing the page does work, but just be careful if you're filling out forms with personal details etc on them.

What proxy are you using? And are you using Proxifier?

I don't know anything about proxies I'm afraid! They have a list of what sites you can access from College here http://isservices.tcd.ie/internet/access.php

I'm getting it too, refreshing it also works for me.

It's not just wifi, it's the office connections too. The IT infrastructure in TCD is appalling.

Thought it was just me - this has become increasingly irritating over the past two weeks. Used to use Proxifier but I'm hitting an error almost every page with it turned on. Works better without but lots of other things break when I don't have Proxifier on, videos/streams in particular. Same problem whether in residences or on wifi.

Often get this error too. +1 for refreshing. That's when that stupid Bradford agent likes my machine. Let me join - I've installed and the updates and have a good anti-virus utility installed. Grrr.

Non-functioning printing (jobs that disappear), duplexing that rarely works, software installed on lab PCs without being activated (proper licensing). *le sigh*
