Eircom broadband modem

Anybody know the right settings for the black eircom broadband modem having troubles with the connection. It won't work 8 feet away from modem and wouldn't connect to iPhone at all today or last night?

When you say the right settings what exactly are you looking for?

Is the modem connecting to the internet? Have you set up a wireless network?

Check for other nearby networks on conflicting channels (try InSSIDer - http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider/) or TV senders and cordless phones.

It works Sometimes drops a lot and won't work at all sometimes. Getting so annoying
