Checking car recall

    Hi.
    Is there a website where I can check if a car has been issued with a recall?
    If I ring any main dealer with the vin can they check for me?

    just ring main dealer, not sure if there is a site yet to check, motorcheck will but you have to pay and it wont tell the exact recall/campaign, the main brands will soon have a facility on there webpage to input your reg to check for campaigns, it could be a while yet though.

    Honest John usually lists major recalls.
