    I have applied for a short term contract in the private industry and if I get it I would have to relocate but just wondering what my take home pay would be after all the tax deductions.
    The hours of employment would be 8hr day by 5 day week plus 6.5 hrs on sat - not sure if sat is paid at time and a half.

    Any help would be great

    It might help if you let us know how much you will be getting paid.

    You would need to tell us how much you are on. Also the below links will be of assistance to you in working out your pay.

    Even if you tell us the pay rate, we cannot tell you definitively.

    Your tax credits make a huge difference, and they vary a lot depending on your marital status, nationality + how long you're planning to stay (if you're relocating from overseas), and various other things.

    13 * 46.5 * 52 = €31,434 -> tax calculator = €2,161.00/month

    If you have a medical card, Universal Social Charge is capped at 4% so your take home would be around €2,200 per month.

    You may be entitled to more tax credits based on your circumstances, the Revenue website should give you some information about those.
