Are there any deer syndicates open for membership in the country or is there such a thing?
I'm not talking about coilte leases, I mean private land.
Was talking to someone last night and got a distinct smell of bull off him!

    Cheers lads.

not that i know of. and its a pity. the whole secret thing about where you shoot only leads to lads shooting what they can because if they dont someone else will.

if you were to take all the lads in one area, they most likely shoot the same ground or at least overlap where they shoot.

if they could come together and form a club, with a cull plan it would do everyone the world of good.

not to mention being able to keep an eye out for poachers together

unfortunately it is never that simple. and there will always be someone that messes it up.

let me know if you come up with a way around it

if you mean by syndicate a group of lads who pay for the deer shooting rights on a given area of land , then yes there are i know of several and as paulo says they have a long term lease and management plan and a few of the lads have shot the same ground for over 25years and it's private ground not state forestry
