I know we dont paste-and-run here but what can you say to that! I know its a bit of a stunt but wow, can you ever imagine our opposition having the wit to make such a statement in such a manner.

I would love LOVE to know what Alan Moore thinks about that sort of use of his character (If you've read the graphic novel you'll know what I'm referring to... if not, you need to buy it and read it, its fantastic.)

Will Sinn Fein give this a shot? lol

I think it's awesome seeing the Guy Fawkes mask whipped out when some illiberal legislation is being protested. It's quite appropriate sometimes!

Though considering Derek Keating didn't seem to even know what piece of legislation was being debated in the Dáil, I wouldn't hold my breath for much in the way of creative protest from Irish politicians. But at least he showed up, which is more than I can say for the other 160+ :(

to be honest majority of our (polish) government (including those in these masks and those responsible for 'consultations' on ACTA) a few days ago didn't had a clue of whats its all about, some of them admitted it publicly but after something like that:

happening all the way across the country you would have to be blind, deaf and stupid to ignore it. The way I see it it's just another way to get a few votes when governments support is doping with a speed of light. Well at least they prove they have some brains left, they are the only one I'm considering voting for in next election.

    Amusing :)

Although, we all know the lengths opposition parties will go to in order to drive support for them up a little. Not so long ago I wouldn't have been surprised to see Enda and Eamon dressed as Batman and Robin swinging off the rafters in the Dail to the old batman tune if they thought it'd get them in.

Sure Sinn Fein can just use balaclavas! They should have enough to go around :p

    I kid, of course.

A political stunt, if you will, but gets the point across. Now if only they took it a step further.
