hey all, i'm buying a pair of casual everyday boots online, now i wear a size uk 8 in shoes/runners, always have. however my job requires me to wear safety boots and i take a size UK7 work boot, (work boots are generally a little bigger/looser) hence why i wear a size smaller, i been looking at these and they are a kind of hiking/casual type boot, not really a work/safety boot, but my question is are boots generally that little bit looser and bigger than shoes etc, or is it just work/safety boots that this applies to? never owned or worn a pair of casual boots. so I'm not sure to buy in a uk7 or 8.

They're nice boots, but I wouldn't buy shoes online that I haven't tried on physically in store.

Even in the same brand I've found I can be different sizes depending on the shoe, never mind the differences from brand to brand.
