    Hi

Does anyone know of a shop in Letterkenny or Derry that unlocks phones so that the phone can be used on other networks.

    Thanks

You can get it done at Dolans just over the bridge from Lifford on the way into Strabane.

    Any idea on price?

There is a place on the Port Road that does them. The place beside Charlie's cafe only does Iphones afaik.

Talking about €15-€20 for it depending on phone I think.

Place in courtyward does it too,

if you have the skillz (yes with a z) you can get your own unlocking software online if you have the USB lead etc.

could save you a bit of money

If it is a recently released phone expect to pay between £30-£40

You should be able to do it yourself.

Even without the PUK code I simply rang the number supplied, went through the steps and had unlocked my phone in 5 mins.

Edit: My mistake. Different type of unlocking.

Thank you all for the info.

I've let a friend know and I'll find out how he gets on.

    Thanks

I got a nokia unlocked by Signal in the courtyard shopping centre, Normally its 20-25euro but the software on my phone meant it was more difficult to unlock and so it cost 40euro and took two days. I think its normally done within an hour or so.
