double xp for two hours ?

    hi there,i was just playing mw3 and my gamer emblem and call sign had xp on it and i was getting double xp for two hours, a friend joined me and he was getting the same, was this a bonus or what ?
    i didnt use any of my prestige tokens on it by the way

    havnt played the game recently but unless you havnt bought double xp in the prestige shop or renewed a double xp code, then its probably double xp for the map packs being released

    If ya haven't played in a really long time, it could be the bonus XP we got at christmas and you haven't been on since to use it

    play it every day, only got the elite about a week ago, maybe that has something to do with it ?
    didnt get anything at christmas though

    you get 2 hours for registering on cod elite so thats prob it.

    No i logged onto elite and it gave me double xp as well. I opened the account a couple of months ago! Must be a bug of some sort maybe!
