As we all know by now (its an oging saga...)

    Am buying a watch

    Anywho...lost a few, missed a few

But...saw one, emailed seller and asked about papers and cards etc..

He said he has neither, but it is genuine and if proved not to be will refund me and double the refund..

    Would ya risk it?

Sure, why not ...I'll even treble the refund for you if it's fake :D

How much are we talking about?
Less than €500 I might take a punt. More than 1K, no. Omega and above, no chance.

    1k

    Omega Railmaster

I'd run a mile. There's no way a kosher Railmaster is going for 1K. It might be an original, if it is then its stolen. Either way I wouldn't touch it.

I big thanks but no thanks to the seller

it's been said before but it's worth repeating "buy the seller not the watch"

I would not touch it, but if you really wanted to, Pay Pal or escrow. I say he would run if you mentioned those. You could stop the payment if it was fake.

I corrected that for you ;)

It went in less than a day, I was somewhat interested but I only saw the ad when it was on hold.

Why don't you take a day trip to UK? That way you can see the watch before departing with your money and at the end of the day you come home with the watch without having to wait 2 weeks until the funds clear and he posts the watch.
