    Well guys,

Going on holidays to the States - I rented an economy car as it was much cheaper.
It says it will be a Fiat 500 or similar.

I'm hoping to get a free upgrade - if i don't and end up with a Fiat 500 - will i even fit into the thing?

I'm 6ft 3. My mother has a Punto and i can fit into that no bother.

    Thanks for your help

I'm 6ft 2 and used to drive a Seicento with a sunroof. Fitted in it no problem :)

I'm 6'1" and I hired one out in the UK recently. Surprised how much space is in them. Great fun.

I'm 6ft and use FIAT 500 every day.. plus the kids get in and the missues.

Do they even have the 500 in the US? Last time I went to France my quote said "Peugeot 406" or similar.... (this was last week).

Its a Panda with a shorter boot, and a different body obviously. Mechanically identical, the basic frame of the interior is identical too.

I'm 6'3" and find my Panda significantly more comfortable to drive than a number of "larger" cars including the Corolla.

TBH for given the price of fuel it would be well worth it

I drove one in Italy last year no bother and I'm about 6 ft.
You can't help loving it a little, but it would seem more at home there than in the Big Country.

It's one thing being able to fit into one, it's a totally different thing to feel safe in one as an 18 wheeler barrell's past you on a Freeway!

Those things can displace a Dodge Charger on the road, I can only imagine what would happen to Fiat 500...
