Ahh no! Loved all 3 games. Resistance 2 was the pinnicle of the series. 3 was a bit disappointing which is maybe why they decided not to continue with the franchise. Will always be fond of them because Resistance FoM was the first game I played on the PS3.

I think I enjoyed FoM the best, then number 3, they dropped the ball with the co op split screen in the second. Couldn't play the campaign with the Missus.

The trilogy is a requirement for every PS3 owner.

Don't Sony own the Resistance licence? I'm sure if they wanted to, they could get another studio to work on Resistance 4 [similar to 343 on Halo 4].

Yeah its not that a big deal. Resistance 3 is the only 'brilliant' one to me anyway.

loving three at the moment. think it might just be the best, its so much harder and longer than the others and less cartoony/darker.
The level in the village reminded me of half life 2.

Ashamed to admit that after FOM the second disappointed me so much that I have stayed away from 3. Might pick it up on platinum but not in any rush after the 2nd one.

Still haven't got around to playing Resistance in any form yet. They just look like hopelessly bland shooters to me :/ Maybe one of these days when I find a copy for a fiver somewhere.

Resistance 3 had the best campaign of any shooter this year for me. Really enjoyed, it's well worht playing. You could skip 1 and 2 and and just play three without missing too much really. You could read a small bit of the backstory on Wikipedia or something. 3 is really well worth playing.

I agree wholeheartedly. Enjoyed it alot upto getting to NY and then it got really great and reminded me of some of the battles in Halo at times. The weapon selection is great too.

Considering you are playing a different character to the first two games your second point is very true too.
