Just wondering how much a good web designer would charge per day. I know someone who has a long standing designer doing a professional job on a decent website. If you ask me though, I laughed out loud when I seen the bills rolling in. It would be interesting to know what the going rates are?

'Good' is subjective. Some freelance designers will charge €100 a day. Some designers or agencies will charge €1000+ per day. Virtually impossible to say without knowing who you're talking about, knowing more about their specific skill set and ability, etc, etc.
