Looking to Put Together An Alt Rock/Blues Rock/Folk Rock Type of Band Together,Dublin

    Hey Guys And Dolls (Just A Bunch Of Crazy Guys And Dolls)

    I'm looking to put together an melodic/catchy/trendy Alternative Rock Band in Dublin...

    Think of along the lines of The Black Keys,Fleet Foxes,Arcade Fire,Florence And The Machine,Snow Patrol,Mumford etc etc...

    Im a male singer myself in my early 20's who can play a bit of piano/keyboard and currently learning guitar...

    Im Based in or around Dublin City Centre but willing to travel (ish)

    Looking for folk (regardless of genitalia) in or around 20's (not overly important once you're the right person for the band!)

    Im looking for

    -Guitarist(s) Lead and Rhythm
    -Bassist
    -Drummer
    -Keyboardist/Pianist
    -Some Strings
    -perhaps a female vocalist

    but even if we can get a solid foundation,then add the fancy musicians to the frame as we grow...

    Hope to get up and running soonish

    -Meet up have a chat
    -Jam a bit. maybe some covers just to get used to each other.
    -Think of a band name,Create a Band Logo,Band Website Etc.
    -Write and Record our own original Music
    -Make a music video for said music.
    -Promote the hell out of ourselves
    -Gig
    -See where the road takes us.

    I hope to record a demo for an up and coming college application so we could get in the studio for a bit too. on me.

    if you maybe even slightly interested,dont hesitate to contact me and we can talk and see if it's what you want etc.

    i do sing,but kildare wouldnt be possibilty. no transport im afraid. thanks for the post though!
