Calling all Gaelscoil teachers

I've asked this on another thread, but I'm hoping that a Gaelscoil teacher would be in a position to help me out on this one, I'd be most grateful to you if you could. About a week ago I was trawling through the net looking for pages for Irish learners (of which I'm one) when I found a site, I imagine that it was from a Gaelscoil, where not only could you see but also turn the pages of a child's copybook as Gaeilge and there might even have been the sound too. There were coloured drawings and some writing underneath it - the content was - I am riding on my horse, my horse is grey etc. Does that ring a bell with anyone? Unfortunately I was too tired to note it down at the time, so I was going to that later and in the meantime one of my sons put the Cleaner to work and now there is no 'historique' to go back to. I've spent endless hours ever since trying to find it, but without any success.

That is an amazing website, and all the more amazing that it is for a tiny two-teacher school.
There are multi-national companies who have websites that aren't as comprehensive as that.
    Well done to all involved.

These are the schools our DES want to close.:confused:Echo, I'm sure the school staff would love to hear your comments. Would you consider emailing them?

I'll do that and I think I'll copy to the Dept, not that they will pay any attention.
They say children need to be in big schools to have the resources they need, but resources can be provided locally, and when a school has the support of the local community it doesn't always have to cost that much more.

And they say that they welcome comments from visitors (and they also teach French).
