Deep breathes, in through the nose out through the mouth.... works surprisingly well.

    Good luck on the test!

Part of me wishes you were doing the test in a clown car.

I should go for a drive in my clown car, while breathing in and out with a pint in the cup holder.

I just want it to be over

    Best of luck.

Remember failing is not the end of the world and doesn't necessarily mean you're not a good driver.

You're definitely going to pass though. :)

Just picture all the other cars in their underwear.

Theres really nothing to fear OP. Statistically you are almost certain to fail your first test due to some minor technicality like missing a red light, or reversing over a small dog.
Its the 2nd, 3rd or maybe even 4th test that you need to concentrate on! :D

Deep breaths. Good luck with the test. Mirror , signal, manoeuvre ,Make it known you are using the mirror. ...Fingers crossed..:)

Yes it does! It means exactly that!

I'm going with the calming nerves approach rather than the adding additional pressure one.

I know plenty of people who passed the driving test first time and drive like blind monkeys wearing shock collars.

Don't know about the nerves, but leave the big shoes at home !

Slow down and proceed with caution is the answer to every question the instruction asks. When in doubt remember that one line and put it into practice and you won't go to far wrong.

Good luck, you can do it.

Wear a short skirt and a low cut top, guaranteed to pass, even if you're a bloke.

Couple of e's. Have a spliff handy in case your head starts lifting. Best of luck. You will need it. If you get the impression you have failed and it is pointless continuing, drive into a rough area and turf the boring fart out.

Good luck OP. It's a fecking great feeling when you pass.

When I took the test, I came up behind a truck which had parked/abandoned blocking the narrow street. The driver in front just went straight up on the footpath and around the truck. I was stuck there, and naturally wasn't going to go driving on foothpaths!

The tester waited for maybe fifteen seconds and then just said "ya may follow yer mans lead, or we'll be here all day!". Straight up on the path and around, and passed.
