Hi All, can anyone give advise on buying an engagement ring in Antwerp, I have read all the older posts on this and while they all have excellent advise in them I was wondering had anything changed as the posts are now 2-4 yrs old. I have been in contact with Phillipe Harold and Joe Katz already but we would just like advise on what to do when we get there??

    Many thanks :)

Diamondland - if you google it its the 1st option that comes up... he shopped for many weekends in and out of all the stores.. he said this was a well established shop and highly reccomended by his local friends...

Again i love my ring and it was made specialy to fit my finger along with a wedding band to go with it....

Thanks so much CurranBun for your quick reply, congrats on your engagement.......I visited the diamondland website a few days ago and there arent many examples of rings on it thats why I didnt really progress with it - but I will email them and see if they can give me more ideas. People are saying on previous threads about bringing cash over as we could get a discount - I suppose that wasnt a problem for you Fiance as he lives there and didnt have to travel with it from Ireland. Thats unreal that your ring is valued so highly. Did you get platinum or white gold - I dont know about this either

hi there, no problem at all... i know i was on their website and it doesnt look great, but he did his reasearch for many weeks he keeps reminding me!! and the value from it here proves it.. he advised to steer clear of any jewelers in the train st and its vicinity... and to look for Jewish stores, they are the ones with the proven track record..
Mine is White Gold, totaly honest i wouldnt be able to tell the difference between platinum and white gold :D it is 1 big solatiare in the middle and rhe band is unsually kris crossed with diamons on it.. totaly in love with it.. its not on their site either... if you want more info, just PM me and il ask him for you...
