Hi everyone, have tied googling but to no avail. Got a macbook yesterday second hand which seems to be basically unused, everything is perfect. However, when watching a video eg. Youtube, if I make the video fullscreen a blue tint appears over the entire screen. Any ideas how/if this can be fixed?

When do you see this? Is it after Screensaver turns off?

If you click Screen/ Display Preferences and then exit...it may go away

If you add the Display preferences to you dock, it will be quicker to fix when it occurs

But could be a logic board issue

    Is the screen calibrated?

I haven't done it myself as I hear it can cause issues with tints but since you already have the problem It wont hurt re-calibrating to try and fix it.

Go to system preferences -> Displays

Don't think it has anything to do with the screensaver as I have screensaver turned off. Recalibrated the display and there's now no tint on youtube, but there is on any flash video from other websites. hmmm...
