I recently discovered that there is a new competing ghost bus tour being established in Dublin.

It is called The Gravedigger Ghost Bus Tour, and the service is provided by Dublin Mini Coaches. The bus will come in a black livery rather than DB's purple Ghost Bus.

BUT, THE PRICE IS €45 PER PERSON!:eek::eek: Too Much for you I feel!

    http://www.thegravedigger.ie/about.php

In comparison to DB's it is €28 per person. Even tickets are 10% cheaper if you online.

Did anyone go on the DB Ghost Bus tour? I haven't been on the tour myself. What did you think of that tour?

Do you think the website is good?

€45 would be enough to scare away customers.

Interestingly,it's not the first competitor for the DB Ghost Tour.
Dualway had a similar product using their Black Routemaster, while this operator utilizes an ex DB RV (517 ?)....good to see the vehicles being returned to service in an ecologically friendly manner!

Although,I note it's no longer mentioned on their website.

45-13-6=26 so less than DB plus the walking tour and a pint in town. If the "ghoulish" drink is a cocktail it probably works even out better value than DB ;)

I loved going to the gravediggers pub before and after croke park especially in the summer nights when youd sit outside in the green with your pint.

Theres nothing really new under the sun....Dublin Bus's Ghost Tour also did the "Free Pint" element many years back.

However after using two different licenced premises and encountering a range of issues with the principle it was discontinued...;)
