Would you go out with a Handicapped person or even consider dating one?

Maybe a blind or deaf person or someone with one arm or leg or something?

Depends on the handicap. I've gone out with a few retards if that counts.

I don't find disabilities sexy or in any way attractive so no.

Horrible person I may be for saying it, but I couldn't go out with someone with serious mental issues. It'd feel like taking advantage.
Physical issues, I don't see why not. Except for two vaginas or a hermaphrodite. Or extra vaginas in random places.
    Edit: or penises for fingers.

I'm not trying to be mean, there was a conversation between in work today and I thought I throw it out in here.

    Are you for real?.

Sure, and why not.. Every cripple has his/her own way of walking.

I would not say a person who is blind or deaf is handicapped.

Surely we can do better than topics like this.

They are just as much of a person as someone without a disability.

To answer your insensitive question, of course I would, but would they want to date me? I'm ginger afterall.

Sure. As long as they weren't a dwarf or a thalidomide. Actually, that's not true. There's some pretty hot dwarves.

    It's a genuine question.

I think the percieved social stigma would be too much for some people.

Maybe. Would I be able to use the disabled parking space?

I don't think you worded it very well tbh. It comes across as if you are laughing at people with a disability.
Having one leg or arm does not stop anyone having a normal life same as everyone else.

I hate the way genuine issues like this are met with such disgust / pc'ness on here. this is something I was considering just the other day myself.

It would entirely depend on the disability. Mental disability, no. physical disability again it would really depend. let's face it a life with a person with a disability is a tough one. and it's not like no one out there wouldn't seriously have to consider it.

I would, not in a mean way, but is an obvious physical handicap.

    Surely you can accept that?

I don't think you can date someone who is mentally handicapped. I mean a lot of them still require a guardian and it'd be very hard to deal with the whole issue of "consent" and that. In fact I think it could be regarded as exploitation of vulnerable adults. So no, I definitely wouldn't.

If it were a blind/deaf person, or someone with a lost limb, I wouldn't really mind.

No because it would not stop them leading a normal life.I have a friend who is blind and it has not held him back in any way.

An intellectual disability would be unethical.

    Thanks for that.

There was a really interesting program on the Radio the other night with visually impaired people talking about how difficult it can be to meet someone, quite sad for them in that sense.

I was born without a right hand myself and am beyond ****ing disgusted... let me just say that before my ban takes effect.
