I wasn't impressed with it, if I'm honest. They seemed to leave the animals alive for a needlessly long time, even strapping them to the front of the jeep while still alive. All in all they weren't that efficient.

I did think it was hilarious that the old fella needed to be subtitled, even though he was supposedly speaking English.

It was almost as bad as 'Sons of Guns'

Not seen that one, but many of the so-called reality shows are over the top, some contrived, some plain boring, but encouraging bad behavior, practice and ignorance for the $$. Its becoming an escalation in exploitation to to see how low we can go.

American Guns is not too bad, they have some decent smiths and the son is an engraver, the owner is a fairly knowledgable fellow w/decent taste in hardware. There are some good shooting shows on Outdoor Channel and similar, and maybe you've seen or are familiar with them.

In a sense its all good, most of these and the military shows about shooting reflect an improved impression of and interest in shooting sports. This is of course my opinion only, not meaning to step on any toes.

Sons of Guns is awful muck to watch, most of what goes on in the show is clearly made up for the camera and milked for every last minute of camera time, you get to see 5 minutes at the end of the show of some live firing thats the only upside! Seen a few clips of american hoggers and it looks to be along the same lines!
Saw this one on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iU3ZW9KiBOE&feature=relmfu (some interesting camera angles :D)
