Anyone know when (or if) the an post tour of Sligo and Meath are on this year?
My friend and I are planning to do both if they are on again but can't find anything about the 2012 events?

I've noticed that none of the cycles are describing themselves as the An Post Tour of/de Whatever. Anyone know if the cycles are now run by the LSP's (& supporting cycling clubs where applicable) without An Posts support this year?

An Post are supporting them this year according to their website:

Thinking of doing the 60km cycle with the girlfriend but she only has a hybrid bike, would she be able to complete the cycle with it or would she be better off trying to get a racing bike for it?

    Meath details are up:-

thankfully they've cut out the bit west of Kells where the roads were really crappy - no climb up Loughcrew and no playing chicken with the tour buses on the descent:)
