Good article in Triathete Europe about this topic also and why being such good runners they haven't made a success in the transition to Triathlon

I'm not taking the piss with this at all but I kinda feel like the gear price required to compete in triathlons would be fairly prohibitive to most Kenyans.

Plus I think there's more money in marathons.

Why would the Kenyans want to compete in Triathlons?
It's not even a proper sport, full of failed runners/cyclists/swimmers.
    These lads are elite runners.

Last week you were putting the book into people suffering from depression, this week it's triathletes. Are you taking suggestions on who to insult next week?

I would love to fail at something as well as the Brownlees or Chrissie!

No, I was saying that Martin Fagan was using the depression card as an excuse for being caught cheating, which I stand over.
And even if he was, depression is not a free pass to **** people over.

What program was that? Was it man on a mission. Brother Colm O'Connell with Eamonn Coghlan presenting? Recorded that a few weeks ago and watched it last week it was absolutely brilliant.

+1 I'd love to read that article. Especially when you consider appeals like this. The roads around Iten wouldn't be ideal for road bikes either. And I'm guessing swimming pools aren't in plentiful surprise either

depends on how you define failed runners:

    Alistair Brownlee
    Lukas Verzbicas

    :D
