Mod please feel free to delete or change as I've already asked this in Cork forum

I'm looking for a source of fresh legally killed rabbit on the cork area - not mass scale at the moment, but butchers are telling me they are hard to get & I find it hard to believe

I hunt foxes from time to time with guys from west cork and they are tripping over rabbits. Don't think you will have much trouble getting a few

butchers cant sell you wild rabbits without the proper licence, so they are telling the truth, the only rabbits they can sell are farmed imported rabbits

The joys of modern life means that in a car you could be out of duglas, down the south ring, through the tunnel and turn right onto what looks like prime rabbit land in about 5 mins ;) all you need to do is ask permission

buy your self a cz .22lr and take a walk around to some of the fields that surround cork and you will never be short of rabbit meat.
