I have a 00 polo and the airbag warning light has come on. The thing is I had a clutch box job done on it recently and it's only since then the airbag light has come on. Is it possible that the guy that did the job leave off a connector or something?. Before you ask the guy is out of the country right now and I have the NCT next week any suggestions? Tks.

It is unlikely to have anything to do with it. I suggest you get it scanned for fault codes and take it from there. Where are you located?

Well if Portlaoise/Abbeyleix area is convenient for you I can do a scan for you (no charge for just a scan)

That's really decent of you! I'm doing exams at the moment so I probably wouldn't have the time to get down to your area. Maybe you could pm me with the details anyway? Thanks

I will PM you now. If the car fails the NCT on the airbag light alone it is a free retest anyway so not that big a deal.
