Adecco Recruitment-Presentation and Interview

    Hi There,

I am wondering has anyone ever interviewed with Adecco Recruitment before? I have an interview this week for a job in Cork and I must complete a 15 minute presentation demonstrating how I would carry out my job on a cold desk.

I'm just wondering has anyone had previous experience doing these presentations as part of the interview process and if so, what do you feel is key for me to focus on.

Thanks a million in advance for your help/advice,

Is it a job to work in Adecco or one of their clients?

    Do you have sales experience?

It is to work for them in their agency in Cork.

I have recruitment experience spanning about 9 months but it's just the format of the presentation that is throwing me.

I always think presentations are a funny thing to include in interviews but I want to approach it the best way possible all the same.

I have never interviewed with them, but I suspect they will want to watch you either make a real sales cold call or do some sort of pretend sales cold call with someone from their office.

So this will probably be the full process:

Finding potential clients via job websites/job sections in newspapers/careers section on company websites.
Figuring out who you need to talk to.
Figure out what you want to say.
    Make the call!

I could be wrong though, but I've worked in recruitment before and I can't imagine they would want to see any other presentation.

What they want to see included is:

1-How will you gather a good understanding of your new business area
2-Identify who the key clients are in your area and how will you approach them
3-Describe how you will attract suitable candidates from your market
3-What KPI's do you feel that you will need to set to successfully build your desk

I am currently working in IT Recruitment but for this scenario based presentation I have to ask as though I'm working on a cold desk within a new market space. I am struglling to see how to talk about all 4 points if I can't refer to a business area. I presume point 3 I'll refer to the good nature of the company but the other 3 points I'm baffled about since I can't focus hypothetically on one area
