On the back of the funny "Sh*t women say" and "Sh*t cyclists say", (which were funny, see Google), attempts are being made with "Sh*t runners say".

I don't think they're the finished article just yet but they're getting there.

    What's anybody think?

The serious runner one is brilliant. You need to be close to obsessed with running to get it all though.

Oh crap. I understood everything in the tri one, it sounded normal.

Was just about to post that one.

Real ultrarunners train without gels and water though. :)

The ultra one is depressing. Blue sky, clear trails and running in shorts and t shirts. V good tho. Kuprica, krupichio?

    I want some medical advice
    Anybody read Barefoot Running?
I missed the entry date for Ballycotton and had really targeted it
    a sub 3 hour marathon's a much better achievement than a sub 5 mile
    a sub 5 mile's a much better achievement than a sub 3 marathon

My 10k PB is 41 mins, but I ran 35:31 en route to a ten miler. Can I count it as a PB?

My legs are still sore from the XC race 5 days ago. It's the lactic acid...

My runners hurt can I take them back.
The guy in <insert mass sports retailer> told me I over pronate so he sold my a pair of Kayanos for €170.
    Can I wear my iPod?
There was only 2 water stations on the 10k - I nearly died of the thirst.
We need a table for that!

"had to cut the run short, cos the Garmin died" -- I've thought that, if not actually said it.

Standing outside your front door in tshirt and shorts with your left arm raised, looking up at the sky, telling your neighbour "I'm just trying to catch the satellite"

Running on a threadmill isn't real running

You can totally do a great work out on a threadmill

Oh I'm not running that course, it's too hilly.

Totally entering this race, it's flat.

Adventure racing in Ireland isn't real adventure racing, pffft.

    I felt a niggle in my knee/calf/thigh.

I'll see what my physio says.

    I went out too fast.

    I went out too slow.

    Do I have shin splints?

    I have shin splints

    Why are headphones banned?

    I can't run without headphones

I can't understand why people run with headphones, you're missing out.

    Anyone ever try chia seeds?

    Our ancestors ran barefoot.

Ice? Just drill screws in your runners, pffft.

    Dog owners are total assholes.

Dogs are great, I love running with dogs.

I ploughed some kids out of it who stood on the path, lolcopter.

You should try IMRA races to see what a real hill looks like.

    One word: Bodyglide

Hey Krusty, you've probably answered this already but...

Oh today was my B race, I'll go all out in my A.

Turbos are a total sufferfest, I love it though.

I'm in the market for a new bike.

Do I look aero in this pic?

Here's a pic of Robin with some Brazilian hotties.

How do you carry your gels?

    Is it chip timed?

Hey, did anyone else have problems with their time?

What do you mean gun time?

    That race is too expensive

My personal favourite is by Woodchopper in reply to Pherekydes:

Last in the steeple requires a lot more training than throwing a stick
