Lad's looking at purchasing a gilet from Wiggles website. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/castelli-leggero-wind-proof-cycling-gilet/.

Anyone have one and if so what kinda fit are they .Would have a Altura flouresent windbreaker and its extra large but tends to slipup back a bit.Other than that fit is ok.Would also have a santini warmer bike jacket and this is XXL but very small fitting this one is .Want to avoid the hassle of getting incorrect size .would be average build at 83kgs- 5foot 9.Would XL be for me.Is there much value with few euros off on sale now, probably ending soon.tks

I'm 6ft and 80kgs and have an XL Altura gilet which is ample on me. I'd say an L would suffice for you.

I have Castelli and Altura gear and Castelli is smaller fitting. At least an XL in Castelli if you are purchasing it. I am a small in Altura and a Medium in Castelli

Castelli is very small fitting. I am the same height as you but a few kilos less and find L in Castelli is tight and also quite short. Would try and XL if I were you.

Check the reviews on the Wiggle site as well - there's often some good info in there about sizing.

As a side note, I'd appreciate a thread on 'gilet pronouncing'...
