    Anyone know if any of the banks give out piggy banks these days? Looking to get one for son to try teach about saving

    Not sure if the banks give them out, but you can get ones in places like the €2 shops etc.

    In eason's I got a money jar which you put batteries into and it counts the money as you put in once it is in coin form.
    It need aaa batteries and cost apox €5.00.
    I gave this to one of my nephews and he loves it.

    Credit unions also give out piggy banks when you open an acoount for your child..
