    Hi Guys, Need help:

OH has Honda CRV 2003 that's died, mechanic says needs camshaft sensor but he cannot source one.

Does anyone know where one can be purchased?

Presumably somewhere other then a Honda dealer?

Any motorfactors that supply blueprint parts can get you ADH27211 for the camshaft sensors(they come as a pair) or ADH27213C if its the crankshaft sensor.

Sounds strange. Even if they didn't have the part in stock they could normally get one within a couple of days at most.

Emailed blueprint parts in the UK asking how long it would take to get that part to garage in Ireland if they registered... they replied today saying it would be 5 WEEKS! OH has phoned breakers in North and South and none she's spoken to have this part.

any suggestions about best place to source one?

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread.

Before the sensor was replaced what was wrong with your CRV Firblog? I have a CRV that just cut out two weeks ago and hasn't started since. Engine turns but it just won't start. There's no spark. Mechanic is stumped! Wondering if it could be the same sensor as caused your problem.

    Thanks
