Folks, we have two second hand ds lite's which work fine for our young ones. We have a squinkies game and was wondering if they could share/play over Wifi or such like?

I also see a thing called DS download play which when you click on it says looking for software availble for download for ages.. I thought it would need to be connected to Intrenet first before it can download? Our Wifi here is unencrypted at the moment but I dont see any settings in the ds lite to enter wifi info into.

It's not looking for the internet.
Download play is a local thing. One ds has a game cart with a download play feature, eg mariokart, you select that feature in-game. The other ds doesn't need a cart, you choose the download play icon from the front menu, it sees the other ds, pulls down the game (a limited multiplayer version of full game) and you're off.

WiFi settings are accessible from the front end of any game that uses the WFC or from sys settings (I think... Been a while, 3ds has me spoiled ;))
