Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding information on taking a Belarussian child during the summer or does it still happen? In my area a few years ago there were lots of families who did it but their children are grown up now. I would appreciate any information on this please.

The Chernobyl Children's Appeal was the one I would have known (and have great friends among the former Chernobyl Children) but has wound up. They have a link on their page to the below:
