Hey all,
I'm trying to set up a simple datebase with Access 2010. I would have thought it would be a fairly simple process, but Microsoft would appear to disagree, and havee made it ridiculously convoluted. I've managed to make a start though, but not it won't let me save it as I want to. I keep getting the message "MS Access can't save design changes or save to a new satabase object because another user has the file open", accompanied by an extremely irritating clanging noise. I'm on my own laptop, I'm not part of any network, and there are no other users, so why am I getting ths message? And why, oh why is this such a complicated process??
