Applyinga as a mature student on the basis of LC results

    Are you still considered as a mature student if you apply through the CAO for your chosen course but only on the basis of your Leaving Certificate results?

    I am 27 and about 120 points over the average amout of points required for the course.

    Theoretically you should be as long as you also have the correct subjects and required grades for the relevant course.

    You should contact the admissions office or the Mature students office of the relevant college and they should be able to clarify their colleges policy on it.
